It’s A Little Known Fact…

that I play music. And by play music, I mean write music. And by write music, I mean I really need to get my home studio set up again so I can start recording again. Truth is, I haven’t done any recording in about 3 years - life’s been busy.

Like that’s a valid excuse.

The point: to add some incentive for myself to start recording again, I’m going to start posting some of my tunes on this here blog. Hopefully people will either a) tell me wicked they are, and how much more they want to hear from me, or b) how lousy they are, and that hopefully I’ve gotten better in the interim so that when I start releasing my new songs, they don’t suck.

To be honest, I’m expecting more of the latter1.

In honour of this being the first release, I’m throwing out three four songs! You can listen to them inline on the blog, download, share, and otherwise enjoy.

Without further ado, I present you with three songs from my first album, “Online Exclusive”2.

Like I said, I’d love to hear some feedback…
(heh…I crack myself up sometimes)

1. - to be absolutely fair, I’m also doing this to test out a Wordpress mp3 plugin I noticed in my WP dashboard just now…

2. - if a song shows up in your mp3 player from the artist ‘Good Question’, well, that was my band’s name…and by band, I mean me. I’m too lazy to change the ID3 tags now that I’ve uploaded the songs…

    Hi !
About the second song, it’s called “L’Etudé passionné” and it looks like French, but I’m French and I don’t know the word ‘étudé’ !
Maybe you mean ‘étudiant’ (student) ? Or you intentionaly wrote it like that and it means something else ?

    Let me know !
    Cheers !

ps : no speakers on my machine so no feedback about your music ! Sorry !

Well, granted my Francais isn’t particularly good, but ttbomk etude means ’study’, so (loosely translated) “l’etude passione” would be “the passionate study” (or, perhaps, “the study of passion”). The title was slightly tongue-in-cheek, as I composed that to go with a 3d animation I was planning for a class assignment (granted, I ended up scrapping the animation, but I still love that piece of music).

Ok ! So the second accent on ‘étudé’ was a typo right ?
    See ya !
