Peter Boyle, known primarily (recently, at least) for his role as Franke Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond“, has passed away at 71, losing his battle with cancer and heart disease.
I’ve loved his acting for a long time - Young Frankenstein and The Dream Team are two movies that come to mind immediately - the guy was just an incredibly talented actor. I remember seeing him on Oprah after Raymond got nixed, and thought he seemed a bit less with it (physically) than usual…
