…to my son, who at this moment shall remain nameless (until the Bris/naming next week)!!
He was born happy, healthy, wide-eyed and with a full head of hair at 10:59pm on April 26th! His hair at the moment is brown, but we’re still hoping it’ll color-shift over to red!
I cannot say how blessed I feel right now - this truly is a beautiful thing.
Mom and baby are both doing excellently, thankfully. This is truly overwhelming.
Pics coming soon - I need to get some sleep. I’ll post more asap.
We launched a new microsite today over at Much, for Jolly Rancher (part of the SweetSounds promotion). It’s got two games (built by me, designed by the team here). One being a ‘Simon’ like dancing game (SweetMoves), and the other a wild and crazy skeet-fruitin’ riot o’ fun (FruiterShooter).
Looking for feedback, thoughts, criticisms, acclamations, etc.

Sitting in Erik Natzke’s presentation right now - he’s playing a video with the music from Dr. Who, which is of course somewhat wild in and of itself. Seating is crammed, what can I tell you? The visuals are absolutely wild, in typical Natzke style. Not that that should take anything away from it - the guy is a genius; absolutely wild, crazy, and phenomenally skilled and talented.
The festival has kicked off, and so far, it’s shaping up to be everything (and more) expected. Kudos to Shawn and all the staff and volunteers who helped put this years festival together - Awesome Job!!
On to the Awards Show…
(more…)
Festival starts on Saturday night - look exciting! If you’re there, drop by and say hi. You can’t miss me - flaming read hair and a goatee.
I’ll be giving an ‘Ask the Experts’ session Monday at 10:00am on ‘Programming Fundamentals with ActionScript 2.0‘, so if you’ve got questions, post ‘em here in the comments, or swing by the session and ask away.
The festival is fully wireless, so I’ll be blogging it…if you can’t make it out, check back here, as I’ll be summarizing the sessions that I attend.
